It was a cool and cloudy day on the West Fork. I fished almost four hours, and ended up with only three brown trout to show for it. Also caught about 15 creek chubs, which is never a good thing. They strike, you set the hook, and think you have a trout, but then they stop fighting and you know you’ve wasted your time (and perhaps a fly) on a stinky little creek chub. Yeah, they really do stink. With the slow fishing, I spent quite a bit of time taking pics of flowers. I also had a pair of waxwings follow me around for much of the day.
Enjoy the pictures.
